What to Expect?

We at Skyline Heights Baptist Church are very glad that you are considering the possibility of visiting us and hope that your time with us will become invaluable to you. Here at Skyline Heights, we try to make sure the first thing you see when you walk through the doors is a smiling face ready to assist you and your family in whatever needs you may have.

When people are checking out a church, they deserve straight answers to important questions. We have tried to anticipate what a number of your questions may be regarding our church. Please do not hesitate to e-mail us if you have additional questions.

Will I be welcome at Skyline Heights?
We welcome Anyone, from Any walk of life and in Any stage of life to join our fellowship. Yes, that means you!!

What should I wear?
Anything you like. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear. Dress usually ranges from blue jeans to business suits and ties -all are welcome!

What is the worship service like?
Our worship service is considered traditional. We have our traditional background by singing hymns and having a church choir lead by piano and organ. From time to time our youth will lead us in worship. The sermon is always Christ-centered, Bible-based, challenging, and applicable to daily living for all ages and all walks of life.

Is there anything for my children during the worship?
During our worship services we have Children’s Church for kids who are in k-4th grade. The grade school kids will start off by going to worship after Sunday School, but will leave right before the pastor begins his sermon, and will have their own worship designed just for them.

Do you have a Nursery for my baby or a preschooler?
We have a wonderful staff of people who are here to serve you and provide wonderful care for your baby so that you may enjoy the service without distraction or diversion. Toys and equipment are disinfected on a weekly basis and your children are cared for by people who have a passion for babies. Childcare is provided for all worship services.

Do I have to do anything?
No. You are our visitor and we want you to be able to come knowing that we aren’t expecting you to give to our offering, join our church, or anything that would put you on the spot. We would love to meet you, get to know you, and show you the love of Christ and all that He has done for us.

The Invitation
At the conclusion of the Pastor’s message, an invitation will be extended. We hope that if you do not know Christ, you will come to know Him at this time. There are numerous members who would love to pray with you and help you affirm your decision.
