I grew up on the family farm in northeast South Carolina. I came to Christ at my home church in 1969.As I entered college in 1974,my goal was to study science and that led to thoughts of becoming a doctor. In the summer of 1977,the Lord had different plans. I surrendered to the ministry and entered Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1978. There I met my future wife and we married in 1980. I received my Master of Divinity degree in 1981. I have pastored 3 churches in Virginia and 1 in Tennessee. The Lord has blessed our home with 2 precious daughters. My prayer is that Jesus Christ will be honored in word & deed. In His Name, Donald.
